i want to thank all of you who have emailed and commented about pappy. i appreciate it.

i made it through the speech yesterday. it reminded me of that seinfeld bit about the number one fear of people is public speaking followed by death. that means most people would rather be in the casket that giving the eulogy.

there's a lot of truth in that.

i am sad to say that my friend, john zaskoda, had his music shop robbed this past weekend. he was cleaned out. there will be a benefit gig at the wreck room next wednesday november 22nd. there will be several bands playing all night. the insurance won't even cover half of his losses and he lost all of his personal equipment as well, so any help would be appreciated.

jason boland and the stragglers also had their trailer and equipment stolen from fort worth the day after. if anyone has any information concerning either of these thefts please report it to the fort worth police department.
