another thanksgiving blog.

i am thankful for so many things that it is hard to list them all.

but i'll try.

in no particular order, i am thankful for:

cherry sours, midnight hours, netflix and card tricks, slurpees and not having herpes, the great game of golf and marijuana coughs, willie nelson, copenhagen snuff and all the cool stuff, dirk nowitzki, my hair, thrift town and krusty the clown, to all my friends, buk, cold beer, morning highs, late night lows, and thousand dollar shows.
parton's pizza where people are glad to meet ya, my two great kids, madison and cole, my heart and soul, cereal bowls full of cinnamon toast crunch, a roadside diner for lunch, and all the cars i had that got me to where i was going.
happy hour prices, all my crazy vices, twenty dollar tips and cd's that don't skip, freewheelin' bob dylan, words that rhyme and chime to the flow of the tip of the tongue and songs that are sung from the tops of it's lungs and end up in a puddle of tears.
george jones and like a rolling stone, ferrell and the boys and that song that starts, 'out of southern illinois came a down home country boy, payday candy bars, chinese stars, and all that shit that i used to think was cool back in the 80's.

i'm getting carried away.......
