i would like to make an announcement. i've had a few emails concerning the sixth annual andy pate smokeout in burleson.

here is all i know:

it is saturday october 14 from noon til whenever. most people will be pitching tents.

it is free to get in and there will be free food. smoked brisket, beans, potato salad, and the works.

there will be horseshoe and washer tournaments that will start around 2 o'clock.

music will begin at 6 or so.
andy pate, jerry elmore, marshall owens, and others will be performing.
i'm the headliner, of course.

the directions are as follows:

I35 south to burleson, tx
take bethesda drive west 1.3 miles to 801 bethesda.

you are there. there will be signs.
