as i was driving to the quik trip to get my sunday morning 44 ounce cherry coke, i noticed all the people going to church.
they were everywhere.
at mcdonald's, at the quik trip, on the highways.
inside the quik trip, several families were buying an assortment of honey buns, orange juices, and chocolate milks all dressed in their sunday best.
i was buying copenhagen and coca cola, yo. sportin' my john prine t-shirt, cut off jeans, and titlest golf visor. lookin' good. feelin' good.
i received numerous sideways looks and a few parents even told their children to quit staring at me while i was standing in line.
little did they know...
i would be going home shortly and serving as pastor in the church of scott's thoughts. ministering to hundreds and hundreds of downtrodden common folk.
i then stood up on the cases of beer and began preaching.
people came from all across the land of the quik trip to hear my message.
i don't remember what i said but it was absolutely remarkable and magical.
or maybe i was just stoned,
scott
