so the pope died.
i am in complete shock.

the catholic faith is the most popular form of organized religion on the planet. roger ray made me aware of this. i was sure it was the amish.

so i guess now they have to vote on a new pope. i had some audio footage of the first meeting to find a new pope. it goes like this:

"okay, all of those who have not fucked any little boys yet, please stand up. of those left, those who have masturbated with or around little boys, please sit back down. of the remaining three, any of you who own any form of child pornography, please sit down. okay, looks like we have a new pope."

i could never be catholic. i can't see myself going to confession. it may go like this...

"father, forgive me. i have sinned."

"what are your sins my son?"

i have taken the lord's name in vain 96 times this week and said fuck and shit a lot too and shit. i've also watched some porn and jerked off all over the place and i got shitfaced a couple of times too and i smoked a lot of dope and told my friends that i was god, but i was just kidding about that and shit. and then i had obscene thoughts like a motherfucker and then i went to the horsetrack and gambled on some fucking shitty ass horses and i think i might have keyed somebody's car the other night but i'm not sure about that."

"you need to say 500 hail marys"

yeah right, kidfucker.

so i was doing some thinking today. i had a few premonitions, a couple of epiphanies, and a major breakthrough but i forgot what they were.

one of them was something about peanut butter but i'm not sure.

so...

just an update. the cd is coming along and i'll be finishing all preproduction work this next week and it will go into print by the end of this month. i gave a premix copy to the radio station in stephenville so if you want to hear some of it, email or call kstv in stepenville and ask justin or shayne to spin it. ask for rebel soul. that may be the only radio friendly song on that bitch.

well, i hope to see some of you out this week. i'll be heading to tulsa on wednesday for tom skinner's science project. looking forward to that and looking forward to seeing larry and debbie spears as well. they always let me crash at their place and cook me some great food to boot. it's nice to have friends. the band will be at papa g's in keller on friday and we may have a keyboard player sitting in again.
