i'm getting ready to head down to the annual hkoaa tax relief weekend in bandera. it's really not bandera, but who gives a fuck. i think it's actually in a town called pipe's creek. hkoaa stands for hog killers of america association. those motherfuckers are crazy fuckers.

anyway, we're playing the other night at manhattan's in arlington and we take our first break and guess who walks in the door.

motherfucking alfonso soriano and koko cordero. you know this shit.

i was all like,"dude, that's alfonso soriano."

and everyone in my band was like, "who's that?"

fucking nerds.

anyhoo, i couldn't help myself. i had to go talk to them. they were really nice. i was actually a little surprised. they even stayed for one of our sets. i told koko he cost me a hundred bucks on that fucking blown save the other day.

then i said, "forget the curveball, koko, give 'em the heater."

he doesn't speak very english. but he drives a badass hummer and shit. alfonso's hummer says AS on the side.

well, i've gotta get packed. i'm looking forward to seeing scott boland and deb. this is where i met him and i've gone every year since. fun times.
