i have a dream....

i have a dream that one day cmt and gac will be demolished and hollywood will burn to the ground.
i have a dream that one day no-talent ass clowns like montgomery gentry will be coming over to unclog the terd from my toilet.
i have dream that one day the texas rangers will win the world series and i will be there to see it.
i have a dream that one day the whole world will get together and smoke a joint legally and simultaneously and we will realize how fucking stupid we've been.
i have a dream that willie will record one of my songs.
i have a dream that toby keith will be caught fucking a goat.
i have a dream that keanu reeves will become mute.
i have a dream that rush limbaugh dies of obesity.
i have a dream that the dallas cowboy cheerleaders all blow me.

so, i'm no martin luther king.

i have a dream.....
shot in the head.

imagine all the people living for today...
shot in the head.

judge not that ye not be judged..
crucified..

ask not what your country can do for you...
shot in the head.

i think they're trying to tell us something.

they.

you know who i'm talking about.

them.

they're out there. everyday. controlling everything. controlling what we get to listen to, watch on t.v., read in the papers, see in the movies, what we get to wear, eat, drink. everything.

don't doubt it for a minute.

i'm just waiting for them to catch on to my little cult and shoot me in the head.

i dare em'. bring it on bitches. i ain't scared.

i just watched this show on the death of emmitt till. he was a 14 year old boy who was beaten to death and shot in the head and put in a river with a cotton gin blade tied around his neck with barbed wire. two white men kidnapped him from his home because he whistled at a white woman. they were found not guilty by a jury of 12 white men in sumner, mississippi after 1 hour of deliberation. the jurors said they waited an hour to make it look good. they said they acquitted him because they said the defense did not prove that the body was actually emmitt till. this was in 1955. barely 50 years ago. after they were acquitted they sold their story to a magazine and confessed to the killing. they were never re-tried.

the land of the free and home of the brave.

we have a long way to go, people.

never forget.

ever,

scott

p.s. we really want to thank travis ford for letting us stay at his house and treating us so wonderfully every time we come to wichita. you're a true friend and we are very grateful. thanks also to all those who showed up. we had an absolute blast and it was great to see so many familiar faces. we hope to be back real soon.
