i guess you've all heard that i won 'folk artist of the year' in fort worth. wow. another award for my overcrowded trophy mantle. i was upset that i wasn't nominated for songwriter of the year award, but my good friend carey wolff won it. i used to play thursdays at the ridglea with him and he was a part of the "friends like these" cd with andy pate and myself. he's a great writer and i'm glad he won.

i still should have been nominated though..
