tell me baby, how long has it been?
shit man.
i've got so many topics of discussion to blab about, and so much news to be spread throughout the little world....i don't even know where to begin.
to start, i would like to congratulate phil mickelson on his incredible masters victory. he is the most deserving champion of all-time. if i was him, i would have flipped the entire world off with both fingers after i sunk that putt to win. i needn't remind you that i stated in an earlier post, "phil mickelson is gonna win that bitch and you can take that to the bank". i am the prognosticator of prognosticators. i heard that ferrell said i was crying after phil's triumph, and i thought i'd clear that up............
i had something in my eye......
okay then....
now, on to business.
this saturday at the bronx zoo will be the scott copeland pre-release cd relief concert. scott boland will be playing with me and for the low, low, low price of twenty bucks, you will receive a receipt for a copy of "Mood Swings" and a bootlegged live recording of the show. the show itself is free. i really can use all the support i can get on this one. ain't too proud to beg, sweet darling. if you would like to show your support and cannot attend, please email me at bignoggan@yahoo.com.
i appreciate all the help i've received thus far. i really means a lot to me.
one hour later......
i'm glad to see that the comments section is being used. i felt i should address a few issues brought up by some of you.
okay fine. bob dylan did a victoria's secret commercial.
i realize that this might seem like it goes against what i've been preaching this past year.... but i can promise you....
nothing could be further from the truth.
let me explain my position on the subject of artist's endorsing products.
generally, i frown upon artists doing commercials but there are a few exceptions i allow.
first, if the artist is not famous and broke, they do not count.
secondly, everyone is allowed to endorse beer.
thirdly, everyone is allowed to endorse supermodels in lingerie.
fourthly, bob dylan is god.
fifthly, toby keith is a fucking boner no matter what.
that is all....
one hour later......
someone else asked about what three dylan albums i would recommend for starters..
that's easy. blood on the tracks, blonde on blonde, the freewheelin' bob dylan.
what else.......
so sunday was easter and i wasn't able to post to celebrate the coming of the chocolate bunny rabbit and eggs made of pure sugar. i was very disappointed. i see my friend, jake, is back. good ol' paul camaro, spreader of the truth and the light. i am sorry that i haven't given any answers to your questions jake. what were the questions? shit i forgot.
however, for your benefit
i will try to give all of my spiritual views in an essay entitled:
"The Meaning of Life and Afterlife"
by Dr. Vincent BigNoglowski
Assuming that we don't kill everyone and destroy everything in the name of God first, I believe that the world will finally come to live as one. we will come to understand that we are all children of god and there will be no need for war and death. we will live longer and travel space together and there will be no sickness or disease. there will be no monetary system and no one will die of hunger or thirst. no child will be born unwanted or uncared for, and the elderly will be treated with respect and will die with honor. no written word will outweigh the universal truth of love for one another and fear will be forgotten forever.
"thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
this is, of course, what i would like to happen.
what probably will happen is we will use all of our increasing technology to come up with more ways to kill each other in the name of god, and eventually succeed in destroying all living matter and truth will never be known."
call me crazy. i am a texas rangers fan.
so anyway, i'm really bored with this right now.
catch that and paint it blue,
scott
