i don't know if ya'll ever saw the dairy queen blizzard commercial or not, but that is my favorite commercial of all time.

i'm at larry and debbie spears house right now. andy pate and i are getting ready to head to norman to fill in for travis linville's monday night gig at the deli. i've enlisted roger ray and tom skinner to help. i'm gonna take over travis's gig and shit.

there probably won't be a motherfucker there anyway.

larry spears is a very gifted songwriter and i'm pretty sure he has a website. i'll get it on here as a link, as well as tom skinner's. i can't thank debbie and larry enough for the unbelievable hospitality. i'm really not deserving.

last night i was at a birthday party at the cain's ballroom. brandon jenkins, the red dirt rangers, and tom skinner and his science project were all in attendance. craziness was all about. larry and i backed over my guitar with the car. there was a moment of complete and utter panic as we backed out the driveway and heard a huge thud and i quickly remember that i just left my guitar sitting right behind the car. luckily, it only scratched the fuck out of my case.

believe it or not... that is the second time that has happened.

for someone who calls himself brilliant and a genius, i sure can be a dumbass sometimes.

my bracket is fucked.

well, i better run along. i hope to see some of you out tonight. michael byars of the hosty duo has been nice enough to offer us a place to crash tonight. he only lives a couple of blocks from the bar too....... bonus.
he's gonna sit in on the cocktail drums again too.

this better be a cool gig tonight or somebody's gettin' hurt.

before i go, i wanted to thank travis linville for asking me to sit in for him. i probably should wait until after the gig to thank him. i might have to stomp a mudhole in his ass if it sucks.
