welcome to the church of scott's thoughts on this beautiful sunday morning. i've got a tee time at 1:20. playing with my brother and a couple of old friends. i'm looking forward to it.

i'm not sure what we need to discuss this sunday.

okay, i just looked through my bible and in the new living translation it has little subtexts where you can take notes and it asked these questions for you to answer. here is what it says after the noah story in genesis.

"Noah's boat was half as long as the Titanic and not quite as wide. It had three decks that would hold Noah's family and at least two of every living creature. For about one year, people and beasts lived together in this floating zoo. Imagine the daily chores.....feeding, watering, and shoveling! What did it smell like? What did it soundlike? Did anyone get seasick? Some days were probably no picnic. Still, it was only temporary. You may feel like you're going through a tough time that will never end. Don't give up. God will help you."

that is unless you are one of the ones he decides to drown. then you're fucked.

what a ridiculous story noah's arc is.. that shit still makes me laugh. i can remember when i was a kid, i'd always go to vacation bible school. i knew that shit was bullshit when i was nine years old. the only reason i liked going to vacation bible school was so i could play dodgeball and bean people in the head.

man, i need to go. i've gotta shit, shower, and shave.
