good morning.

how is my little cult following doing? i hope well.

i'm sorry i haven't posted since christmas, but i've been busy with my kids and other various and sundry things.

first things first, i've had a few changes on my gig schedule. the gig in fredicksburg on jan. 2 has changed, and i will be playing the wild horse saloon this friday the 2nd with scott boland opening for deb walton and her awesome band. the band is also gonna sit in with me and rip out some scott copeland tunes. it should be a blast. all of you motherfuckers who have wanted me to come down austin way better show up. i played the wild horse a long time ago and it was a lot of fun from what i remember.
i'll also be at Poodie's Hilltop on saturday the 3rd and the too damn friendly bar in johnson city on tuesday the 6th. i'm really looking forward to it.


well, ol' wacky mac mcclure interviewed me for his website. i think it is already updated. that was kind of fun. i think i'm gonna steal his idea and have some interviews on my site. that seems like a great idea. it might be too much work though.

i'm not too full of thoughts this morning. my side is killing me. i'm just sipping on a big red and smoking a cig after reading the newspaper.

i went into a 7-11 the other day and i decided i wanted a slurpee. that's one of the greatest things about being an adult. i don't have to ask anyone if i want a goddamn slurpee or not. anyway, what the fuck has happened to slurpees? i remember the good ol' days when they just had two flavors.....cherry and cola. i would always mix them. cherry at the bottom and cola at the top. now, there's like fucking 6 flavors and cherry and cola can't be found anywhere. pina colada, mountain dew, diet coke, strawberry minute maid........give me a fucking break, please. is there really a need for pina colada slurpees? why do people always have to fuck up a good thing?

well, the cowboys made the playoffs and will play the carolina panthers this saturday. i am predicting a cowboy victory. i don't know if you guys remember this or not, but at the first of the year i predicted the st. louis rams and the new england patriots in the super bowl. go back and check it if you don't believe me, fuckers. anyway, they are both still alive and i'm standing behind my prediction. i wonder how much money i would have won if i had bet on them at the first of the season.

alright then, i'm going across the street to play some madden 2004.

i thought i'd give a shout out to a few friends who asked me to mention them. their lives are really boring.....
