good morning fuckers,

back on again and i'm happy to say that i'm on DSL now. it fucking kicks ass.

hopefully i won't be having any more technical difficulties. i almost pulled an elvis a few times and fucking shot the screen. i didn't have a gun though.

okay, what is going on lately?

i saw that judge in alabama got removed from the bench because he wouldn't remove the monument to the ten commandments in his courthouse. i had a few thoughts on this, and i thought i'd speak for what i hope is the majority, but i'm starting to seriously doubt.

first of all, this is a no-brainer. if we allowed a judge to put up the koran in his courtroom, this country would be in a state of mass hysteria. our country was supposed to be founded on freedom of religion and seperation of church and state. i hate to take you all the way back to second grade american history, but come on. goddamn. this shouldn't even be newsworthy for christ's sake.

secondly, this right-wing supreme court justice of alabama is doing nothing but jockeying himself into position to run for office. am i the only one who sees this? he knows goddamn good and well he shouldn't have a ten commandments monument in his courtroom. he's a fucking supreme court justice for crying out loud. they are supposed to be able to interpret the constitution and shit. how do you misinterpret, "Freedom of Religion"? fuck me. i'll bet a thousand dollars he's running for senator or governor of alabama in five years. any takers? yeah that's what i thought.

i don't really have a thirdly. oh well, fuck it.

i've got some Stones on now. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" love it.

Been playing some gigs with Scott Boland this past week and working on the upcoming record. we go in the studio on monday and i've got an all-star fucking cast around me. i don't know how i pulled this off. i guess it's because i'm so goddamn cool. how soon i forget..................
the song choices have changed just a bit, and could possibly change a little more by the time we get started. that's the beauty of it and that's the way i like it. fuck being prepared. that leaves no room for genius. i always did my best writing when the paper was due in thirty minutes, anyway.

.....................................

fifteen minutes later..

i just ate some french toast and had a big glass of milk.

all rise.......

the wonderful and wise king bignoggan will address a question from jessica via an email.

apparently she watched a show with john ritter in it and the question of a "dinner in heaven" came up and who would you have at a table for six at a dinner in heaven.

"here are my choices:

1. Me
2. Jesus Christ
3. Buddha
4. Benjamin Franklin
5. Da Vinci
6. John F. Kennedy

that is just off the top of my head, but i think it's pretty close. notice there are no women. my heaven is beautifully quiet.

you may sit. king bignoggan has spoken and left the castle.

okay, i've been working on this new song.

it goes........

i wish i had a flat rock, the best that i could find
i'd skip it off the surface of the waters in my mind
cause thoughts are just the ripples and dreams are like the waves
and memories are the vessels that we dock into the bay

and my harbor has been emptied and my ships are out at sea
i'm walking on the moon tonight, won't you come with me?

i'm walking on the moon tonight, won't you come with me?

that's all i have so far, so if any of you have any ideas for it, feel free to email them to me and i will decide if they are worthy enough to be included in my masterpiece.

well, i lost my last week buccaneers pick and i'm sorry. i believe that puts me at 5-2. that's still not something to sneeze at. my pick this week is the st. louis rams. give up the six points to the bears. good luck.

i gotta go. i'm supposed to hang out with boland today and get some more work done.

yeah right, work.

hey, you choose your job and i'll choose mine.

jump back and kiss yourself,

scott
