it's monday morning at 8:00 and i just woke up in time to puke. it was mostly snot.

i went to the movies last night and saw "Head of State" that was written, directed, produced, and starred in by chis rock. i think that is why i threw up this morning. it was possibly the stupidest movie i've seen in years. how that is the #1 movie in america is beyond me. i really think that "the funniest man in the world" title is starting to go to his head or something. just trust me on this. i am a chris rock fan and i wanted to get up and walk out of the theatre. it was so bad that if you tell me that you liked it, then i won't like you. i will go ahead and stereotype you as a mindless, soulless, cow of life and go about my day. there will be no further reason for me to hear anything you might have to say.
i have been working on a screenplay for a while now and i think it should be ready to hit the theaters sometime in 2025. by then it will be retro retro and therefore really cool and different. it's starting to come along nicely for real dough. my friend chris colegrove is helping me out and showing me the ropes on the formatting and shit. it's a lot harder than i thought it would be. it's not like songwriting, where i just decided one day i was gonna write songs and started writing and everything i wrote was brilliant. this takes more time and has to be longer that 3 and half minutes and shit. it's just a hobby of mine anyway. what else do i have to do? yeah, that's what i thought.
well, i just wanted you all to know that i am a former professional movie critic. i wrote monthly movie reviews for some publication here in fort worth until i quit because of artistic differences i had with them. more specifically, they were changing my shit. so when i tell you that "head of state" sucked major balls then you can rest assured that it does. don't even go check for yourself and donate anymore money to them. they might get the idea that all their shit is funny and flood our theaters and tv's with their childish, predictable, corny, amateurish, shitholes of films. let's stop them now before it's too late.

5. The Godfather II

alright then. i guess i'll holler at you fools later. i'm off to stephenville tomorrow then lubbock and amarillo and wrap it up with a show at the blue door in oklahoma city opening for ol' wacky mac mcclure. i'm really looking forward to that one. the blue door is a cool place. if any of you see me along the way be sure and say hi and that you read this shit and i might give you a free cd or t-shirt or something. no fuck that. i don't know what i was thinking. just say hi and i'll say hi back if i'm not too drunk and shit.
